BIG TAMARIND
The tamarind is a tree with a hemispherical crown that reaches up to 25 meters. high. Its leaves are bipinnate and its flowers are yellow and red. The fruit is a brown pod containing 2 to 6 seeds. At maturity, the tamarind peel becomes brittle and separates from the pulp, which is characterized by being very acidic due to its tartaric acid content.

Usos : Por sus propiedades laxativas se emplea en el estreñimiento habitual y hepático biliar. La infusión del tamarindo tiene un sabor agridulce aromático. La pulpa del tamarindo también se emplea en la elaboración de jugos, néctares y salsas. Formas de uso : Infusiones, jugos, néctares, salsas.
