Ground salt

Refined salt is a by-product of sea salt, which is subjected to high temperature so that its appearance changes and looks whiter and without lumps, it is the salt commonly used, both in industrial processes and for the food industry.

  • SUGGESTED USE;

    The main use of refined salt is in the daily diet and in food preservation, however, there are many applications of this compound, in the industry it is used in different branches:
    Chemistry: used for the manufacture of liquid chlorine, caustic soda, sulfate, cyanide, sodium chlorate, glycerin separation in the manufacturing processes of soaps and detergents.
    Tanneries: used for the prevention of bacterial decomposition of leather, (leather curing).
    Food: canning, manufacture of dairy products, to process instant soup, preservation of fish and meats in general, bakery and pastry.
    Textiles: used for the standardization of the intensity of the dye and fixation of the color in the textile fibers.
    Ceramic: vitrification of surfaces.
    Livestock: it is used in the animal diet, since it is a good source of minerals.
    Water treatment: regeneration of ion exchange resins.
    It is also used in oil extraction as a component of drilling muds, in obtaining rubber from latex, in the paper industry.
