PEELED CASTILE WALNUT
The Castilla walnut is the seed of the walnut, a tree of the juglandáceas family, covered by a hard shell, which encloses the meat, in the form of cerebral hemispheres. This meat is covered by a thin more or less dark yellow film, which must be removed when consumed fresh.
SUGGESTED USE;
This dried fruit is widely used in pastry, as an ingredient or as a decoration, but it is also used in cooking (in salads, meat, poultry or fish preparations). It flavors sauces, fillings or dumplings, as well as a compound butter. The nut oil, very dietary, with a very fruity flavor, is reserved for seasoning salads.VITAMINS AND MINERALS
