GREEN ANIS
Anise is an aromatic annual plant up to 60 cm tall, with filicineous, glossy green leaves and umbels of tiny white flowers in mid-summer. The fruits are small in size, ovoid or pyriform, greenish-gray or brown in color, and have a pleasant aromatic smell and sweet taste.
SUGGESTED USE;
The seeds are used to season sweets, bread, liqueurs, etc. Preparations • Infusion: 1-5 g of freshly ground fruits for each cup of water. • Powder: 3-10 g daily, in several doses. • Essential oil: 4 drops several times a day. • Tincture: 1-1.5 g per dose. • Mother tincture: 35 drops, 3 times a day. • Fluid extract: 0.15-0.3 g per dose. • Carminative herbal tea: green anise seeds together with cumin and fennel. • Anise water.
